Pre-post: San Francisco

I’m going to San Francisco this weekend for a small getaway. This small getaway has been the point of all my focus lately. And as small as it may be, it is a very much needed trip. Not only did I have to plan my trip’s itinerary, but I had to master my trip’s wardrobe as well. Here are my looks for this weekend. These are my day looks by the way, my night looks will probably be a surprise depending on where we go :-)

Day 1

SF DAY 1

Day 2

SF set 2

Day 3

SF DAY 3

The things that I am most excited to wear will probably be my leopard circle scarf from Aldo, my oversized wool clutch from Urban Outfitters (not shown), and my leather knee-high Trouve boots from Nordstrom. Ahh, I can’t wait. I hope the weather is nice– I mean nice to my wardrobe. Stay tuned for my SF posts next!

Existent.

Hello, I am not dead. And apparently, the site has still managed to stay up. Yes, you can say I’ve been busy. With that business, a couple of great things have transpired.

  •
Transferred to Cal Poly Pomona to pursue my B.S. in Apparel Merchandising and Management – Fashion Retailing.
Experienced working at a couple of great retailers since the summer and am currently employed. I’ve been learning a lot.
Moved out and am somewhat establishing my independence (can’t get away from my Grandma’s home cooking so weekend visits are a must)

Fashion has still been a point in my mind. It hasn’t been a FOCAL point, but it’s been the basis of what I do in my daily intineraries whether it’d be in my classes, at work, or even in my own personal time. I’ve had time to think about what I wanted to do with this blog, skirting on the decision of possibly shutting it down for good. But, since I’ve entered new territories in my life, I figured that I needed to invest more into this and start chronologizing my experiences from here on out as a start. You can still expect the typical fashion funworthy posts but you can also look forward for more unique and personal entries about how fashion is affecting my life as of now.

Many people have asked if I’m ever going to start branding myself into my blog (as in posting pictures of myself– similar to Fashion Toast and Karla’s Closet). The answer is Yes and No. Eventually I would like to start putting my face to my name but in the meantime building my audience and establishing repoir in the fashion community is key. Don’t want my face to be tainted before I can even make name for myself. That is not to say there will be NO pictures of me. I don’t know if you should be excited for it, but I know I am.

Doing some studying tonight for my Retail Buying II midterm tomorrow. I have a post in the works.

Recurring theme.

I always abandon my blog for months on end after a spurt of inspiration or two. Why, you ask? Well, simply put, I have been making magic in my head for the longest time but haven’t sanctioned any time out of that to post it on here. Oh, and school is draining. Real talk.

Anyways, I’m STILL ALIVE and I realized it is probably necessary to the health of my imagination that I access this blog more frequently. A lot of it is seeping into my real life and emulating anything in this freakshow brain of mind could be fatal…

I would need to blog about it before any actions take place. DUH!

My birthday is next Tuesday, the 27th. But my birthday PARTY is tomorrow. We shall see what kind of festivities I’ll be getting myself into. Ideally, I should document it through my camera, yes?

Expect a sooner update.

xoxo

Winter intermission.

Here are some things on my wishlist. Living in California surely doesn’t make it practical for any of my winter clothes. I love the sun but I have to say my favorite fashion season is Fall II where all the cozy knits, layered tees, tights, and my ultimate lust, boots are in.

From left to right: Opening Ceremony x Chloe Sevingy Leopard Cardigan Sweater, OPI nail polish in Russian Navy, Nars lip gloss in Ophelia, Nars blush in Super Orgasm, Topshop shorts, Jeffrey Campbell “99″ wedges, H&M bra and panty set, Fendi Peek a Boo Hardwick Medium Top Handle Tote bag.
