I always abandon my blog for months on end after a spurt of inspiration or two. Why, you ask? Well, simply put, I have been making magic in my head for the longest time but haven’t sanctioned any time out of that to post it on here. Oh, and school is draining. Real talk.

Anyways, I’m STILL ALIVE and I realized it is probably necessary to the health of my imagination that I access this blog more frequently. A lot of it is seeping into my real life and emulating anything in this freakshow brain of mind could be fatal…

I would need to blog about it before any actions take place. DUH!

My birthday is next Tuesday, the 27th. But my birthday PARTY is tomorrow. We shall see what kind of festivities I’ll be getting myself into. Ideally, I should document it through my camera, yes?

Expect a sooner update.

xoxo

Winter intermission.

Here are some things on my wishlist. Living in California surely doesn’t make it practical for any of my winter clothes. I love the sun but I have to say my favorite fashion season is Fall II where all the cozy knits, layered tees, tights, and my ultimate lust, boots are in.

From left to right: Opening Ceremony x Chloe Sevingy Leopard Cardigan Sweater, OPI nail polish in Russian Navy, Nars lip gloss in Ophelia, Nars blush in Super Orgasm, Topshop shorts, Jeffrey Campbell “99″ wedges, H&M bra and panty set, Fendi Peek a Boo Hardwick Medium Top Handle Tote bag.

I’m a free bitch, baby.

On December 21, 2009, I had the pleasure of seeing Lady Gaga for her Monster Ball Tour concert at the Nokia Center in Los Angeles. The tickets were a Christmas gift and I can’t say I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect gift. Initially, I wasn’t a big fan of hers until her most recent album “The Fame Monster.” I gave into the misconception that she was attention-seeking, outrageous, and therefore, just some Pop Media investment made by the powerful people in show biz that would later fade into nonexistence also known as one hit wonders. Now, I’m going to go ahead and further explain my ignorance because I am now fully aware of her four #1 singles, 8 million albums sold, and her agenda to push fashion designers into the mainstream with her publicity. Oh and did I mention she writes her own songs and sings LIVE? Among other things, I became instantly infatuated with her the more I watched her interviews and performances, and I have felt so inspired by her success because of how young she is. So this concert was a big deal. I wore this vintage gold studded black canvas jacket which was more than appreciated and welcomed by the crowd. Lots of drunk people. Lots of support from the LGBT community. Many Moms and Dads there with their tween year olds. It was a very diverse group of people. The show was set to start at 7:30 p.m. Semi-Precious Weapons were the opening act and came on around 8:00 p.m and ended at 8:45 p.m. approx. Kid Cudi was a no show since his altercation with a fan at another concert venue before. Gaga was late… very late. I mean people were anxious, buying more alcohol, and some were even rethinking if the tickets were worth the money because we didn’t want to believe that she would play the whole Michael Jackson tribute album (RIP) which spanned a good hour while we waited for her to get on stage. SOOOO… 10:30 p.m. rolls around and the lights turn off, some electronic bass blasts, and we see the projection screen playing some media while counting down 1 min before she came out. Then “Dance in the Dark” starts playing an the Lady pops up in her fluorescent light bulb adorned outfit and everyone goes wild (I think a few people passed out because they were already wasted). I start dancing and singing and maybe dying a little inside… this is probably my favorite song off “The Fame Monster.” The rest of the concert was nothing short of amazing. She is really a great performer. And she interacted a lot with the audience in between and during performances. The sets were phenomenal. Her outfits were just as fab. She put on a great show that lasted 2 hours and I was exceptionally satisfied. I noticed a few costume and set changes she did for L.A. after watching her videos from her previous tour stops. I heard she is also redesigning the entire tour for the UK leg in February. Crazy. Gaga’s creative team must be reading the time backwards by now. Here are some pictures I took with my BlackBerry since my digicam ran out before the show started.

New layout.

New layout is up. More accessible than the last one. I’m going to set up the store soon once I can start promoting the new duds :-) It’s been a dead month for me since the last time I updated. I just felt very uninspired as of late and I guess drained from school (finals were gruesome). But, I got through it and passed all of my classes! Yay! I’ve been spending my break resting and getting ready for the new semester which starts next week. I’ve had a lot of time to really get back into researching fashion and just going out to see what’s been going on with the world. I have plenty to update on so there are going to be a bundle of posts after the jump.
